...will start with the positives. Great setting and lovely to sit on the veranda overlooking the sea; great selection of food and snacks and very good prices. The negative? Takeaway cups only...not only does that ruin the taste slightly of the flat white I ordered but it's such a shame to have such waste when drinking in. Please consider introducing china crockery for those of us not taking our coffees out to the beach.
What User doesn't like about Yelo:
Great at location right overlooking Trigg Beach. Great coffee althought could be cold if you're not "on the ball". Chaotic service system of "order anything from the display counter plus coffee and we will call out your name when it's ready...." so you really don't know exactly when to be AT the counter where there is a chaotic throng to collect your food and drink.... hence arriving too late, it'll be cold, too earl... Pre-prepared, and coffee was good quality.
Very good coffee from a limited menu. Excellent location for watching the world go by Can relax with similar walkers in a die for environment
Good stop off during a long walk from Hillarys to Scarborough. Serves very good coffee and Banana Bread, salad sandwiches
Can't drive far on SWWA roads without noticing YELO advertising on vans, so I figured it might be worth tasting what appears to be a trend. Their Subiaco cafe doesn't appear to get a TA listing, so here's a first(?)Waiting for an eBike service (thanks, Garry) I dropped in for a quick bite and caffeine. First impressions? Eclectic furniture (some yellow), funky music, fresh daily newspapers... all good so far... .Food presentation? My pic shows cappuccino in a cardboard cup, Vegie Slice in a cardboard tray. Cardboard may be 'today'... and that's OK... but there was a little bit of 'thrown-together' about my quick snack-and-hit. No real issues here, but I'd need a little more incentive to revisit Yelo Subi.
The menu is limited but the coffee is great and the view is amazing. Relaxed beach atmosphere worth experiencing.
