The... read more Me and my girlfriend came to Trieste very hungry. While we were searching for an open restaurant in the middle of the day, we stumbler upon this restaurant. The owner invited us in and prepared us a delicious lunch. Highly recommend, thank you Smal!

We arrived after dinner and ordered a liter of draft white wine and a liter... read more Unfortunately, my girlfriend and I decided to join some friends at this restaurant. We arrived after dinner and ordered a liter of draft white wine and a liter of sparkling water for drinking and talking with them. The service was perfect and so was the atmosphere but at the moment of paying the owner asked me 10 !! euros for the order. The sad thing is that my friends that also had dinner there paid way less compared to me and my girlfriend e.g. 2 meatballs and 1 liter of wine same as ours 5 euros... . The point is that the owner applies his own prices at the moment without basing them on the menu and without any rationality. In the end, nor me or my friends have seen the fiscal receipt. Bad experience. I do not recommend this restaurant.
