A small Sicilian restaurant at the road near the seaside. Service provided by the staff was friendly and speedy. Food was very tasty and came in big portions. Its a great place to enjoy good Italian food for a reasonable price.
We Had a super good dinner with seadood and pasta . Excellent wine . Higlhy reccomended for casual dinners
The Rive of Trieste are full of restaurants that basically all look the same from the outside. But sometimes you can really find something interesting like we did at Calò. When you open the bread layer out shines the flavours of Sicily sooo good! The dish was paired with an excellent white wine from Donnafugata Anthilia that was a good match to the fish. To complete this, cannoli and babà with rum , two typical Sicilian desserts. Fresh and good taste. All was served by a nice waitress who ensured that we did not miss anything during this really excellent lunch. Go there and ask for the swordfish alla Mazarese you will like it!

The pizza we ate was okay, but nothing to write home about (the crust was almost tasteless, and the toppings weren 't made from the best ingredients, especially the mozzarella cheese). The service was okay but nothing fancy, and the overall experience was: it was okay, but...
