We ordered... read more The waiter helped us very kindly get a table for four and tried to explain and translate the daily menu as our knowledge about Italian was very bad. We ordered the spaghetti carbonnara a tonno, gnocchi con goulasch, gnocchi al ragu de branzino and tagliolini funghi porcini e salsicia. Everything we ordered, tasty, fresh and homemade. For dessert we have the Crema catalana with strawberries and pistachios for a perfect end to our lunch! Can't recommend this local favorite if you want a real Triestino experience!

The best of them was the peppers filled with cream cheese, I wish we had bought more of them. The staff was friendly although it had problems with English. Next time we also try their a la carte menu.

However their highlight is the snacks on the counter. Prices are very reasonable, a glass of prosseco is good. It's absolutely worth going there.

Definitely recommend if you enjoy fish meals.
