Difficult to find, impossible to find by accident, you must know where you're going, but it is so so worth it. I cannot but warmly recommend it... Shell fish, fish, pasta.... ravioli ripieni con crostacei, pedoci, ... tutto buonissimo e con una vista del mare, del castello di Miramare... fantastico, not to be missed. View all feedback.
What Lele214 doesn't like about Bellariva:
The location is very nice, pratically on the sea shore, but their service including seats and tables were not appropriate for the high price of € 95 paid for those 2 fishes we ordered, barely enough for 4 guests. Disappointed. View all feedback.
Fish restaurant with large terrace overlooking the sea “of filters”. the fish is good and the dishes are presented in a simple way. attentive service. reservation required!

We went for dinner following a local recommendation, we reserved the afternoon of the same day and were lucky to have a table. The place is simple and informal, the open air terrace is spacious and sheltered (it was a rainy evening), it was dark so we did not enjoy the view but every now and then we could hear the sound of the waves (when the young children of some customers there were taking a break). We ate well, all fish dishes, pasta and second we tried the sardoni impanati, pointed out as a local specialty. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming, with strict compliance with COVID rules. Parking out there can be a challenge, and there are also a few steps to get to the place (quite common situation in the area). With local wine and sorbetto/limoncello, the bill was €60 for the two of us. Overall a pleasant experience, I would come back with good weather and some light to enjoy the position near the water.
We found this by chance. The drive down to the restaurant is narrow and steep, but the food makes it worth the trek. Delicious seafood and friendly staff. The pasta was $10, and in NYC it would have been $50. Plus- an unobstructed view of the sea.
After a day at a beach nearby we decided to eat right at Bellariva. As mentioned before the location is just stunning right at the beach. Apart from the view and the open windows the table setting in blue and white added to the mediterranean flair. They mainly serve seafood and fish . We were very satisfied with the quality of the food. Staff is very nice and they are quite strict about COVID rules. Parking indeed is a bit problematic in the narrow and steep street but it is definitely worth it!
