But the service is attentive, the food is solid, the interior has seen better times but is still all right: For a place down town Trieste it’s a well earned rating. Just make sure you are not too hungry, or you order enough plates.

Unfortunately, we skipped dessert, but I know they also make Neapolitan pastiera...I've already tried it and it's superb! Our compliments go to the young chef Brian, with a solid A+. TOP for the cuisine and for his willingness to share the history of the place and its surroundings. I definitely recommend it

I highly recommend it: the food was excellent, beautifully presented, and served by a friendly and knowledgeable waiter. The wine was also excellent, an Istrian Malvasia, pleasantly described as sharp with an apple aftertaste. Thank you for a pleasant evening.
