Al David La Vineria Con Cucina

Loved the fresh fish, seafood pasta and the friendly staff in a great location. The owner is very passionate and the chef was very accommodating to dietary preferences.

This was the First restaurant my boyfriend and I visited after arriving in Triest. I ate the seafood Spaghetti and they did taste oK, but 1 hour after the meal I got very sick and ended up having foodpoisoning for several hours in the hotel bathroom! My BF ate also some bites of my Pasta and struggled with symptomes, just Not as bad as I did. I know it can happen in any Restaurant to get served bad fish, but to my it happened in this one and I think you need to know! I‘m also very sure it Happened there because I didn‘t consume anything that day since breakfast at home!

A great restaurant in the middle of Trieste. Wonderful and friendly staff and amazing fresh food. The menu seems small, but all you need is the catch of the day. We had a wonderful evening!

The son of the owner served us bad. He did not provide a menu card, but gave a proposal for the meals. All of a sudden he served us two plates of mussels which we did actually not order and 35 min later came the main dish. My wife had Spaghetti Carbonara and I ordered Spagehtti Frutti die Mare. Food was good but the service sucked. The waiter was constantly busy having drinks with other guests which must have been his buddies. All together we payed for two noodles dishes and one glas of wine plus 0.5 liter mineral water almost 70€!!!
