It is opposite the huge Hauptmarkt parking garage, and a convenient place for taking a refreshment before wading into the center of Trier. Treviris Back is a bakery shop with five or six tables where coffee, tea, cake and sandwiches can be had. Ordering is at the counter; there is no table service. Average is indeed the word that springs to my mind, but there is nothing wrong with the coffee and cake, as can be expected in Germany.
