That is a good place, a sharp German restaurant, with zig-zag food. my only problem is that it was salty. may be special for the customers who drink beer. I just couldn't eat everything. but above all, the service was perfect, the place clean and quiet.
The restaurant was typical German. eating was good and plentiful while reasonably priced. I had the carvings and pommes. delicious. the service was very good and the fine people there were very patient with my buzzing German. avoid the adjacent hotel. I couldn't find it on trip advisor. the hotel has expired and a bit like the winchester mystery house. kind of creepy: gave my wife bad dreams. all this and the parking lot are also annoying. I expect it will not be in operation in a few years. they help it together by avoiding it. but visit the house of gas.
We enjoyed this restaurant to our hotel and we ate both nights of our stay. there were a lot of carving and other local dishes to make reasonable trips. the waiting staff was warm and friendly and it seemed as if a lot of locals were eating here too. good food, good value!
We ate here in the first night because we were so tired of driving and didn't want to look for something. it is right next to the hotel. it was so good that we ate here in the second night. the waitresses were friendly and remembered. what we drank in the night before.
Gasthaus Shultz offers no frills meals with good portions and good service despite being very, very busy. I'd pick it for value and nice beer.
