The server was very friendly and his English was pretty good. The menu is quite basic, but great German...comfort food in Schnitzel and Brennkuchen. Prices are reasonable. My Mosel Riesling was OK. The food came quite fast and the server was attentive during our time at the restaurant. Yes, there were a number of tables where the cartridges smoke, but we come to accept that this is a cultural norm in Europe. Tolerable. Overall a good experience in Trier.

The staff who looked after us all were amazing (big shout out to Morris! . They were attentive, friendly and made us all feel very welcome. Looking forward to...going there again on our next visit to Trier.
