Don't miss their special menu where you can order the likes of "spaghetti bolognese" (strawberry ice cream out trough a stringer - quite funny!)Staff are always smiley and friendly too - I'm sure I would be too if I was surround by all that yumminess everyday!

It ticks all of the boxes be it a quick take out or eat in, either inside or on the street. The menu has a wide range of indulgent options including the German speciality spaghettieis.

Vegan ice-cream flavours are list... read more Calchera serves homemade fresh ice-cream, using only natural ingredients, no preservatives, colouring or artificial additives. Vegan ice-cream flavours are listed as allergen-free ice-cream flavours. I tried the vegan mango and passion fruit flavours and was absolutely thrilled by the intensive fruit flavour and the creamy consistency. The scoops were really big for only 1 euro each. I´m very much looking forward to checking out some of the other vegan flavours on my next visit to Trier. Updated from previous review on 2017-03-21
