Geco Gelato - TRICESIMO

Geco Gelato has been established in Tricesimo some years ago. Their selection of delicious home made ice cream is astounding. A well deserved 5 points rating in a country where ice cream is usually of a high standard. So prepare to be amazed by this modest ice cream shop. Be aware of street parking with parking disc control.

Last year I wrote in my review, that I had promoted Geco Gelato to my 5 point rating category, because of the selection of interesting flavours and the high quality of their home made ice cream. I can confirm that my recent visit convinced me that the ice cream of Geco Gelato indeed merits a five point rating. It was no lucky shot last year but constant quality.

It was 8 years ago now that I spotted Gecko Gelato in the center of Tricesimo; a brand new ice cream shop. In this 8 years Gecko Gelato has gone from strength to strength and scores an easy 5 point rating every year, when I visit. You may have high expectations of ice cream in Italy but let Gecko Gelato surprise you with the large selection of flavours and the delicious bite. A point of attention. Parking is under parking disc control in Tricesimo center.

Some years ago, when Geco Gelato was just open for business, I discovered this ice cream establishment and introduced it to TA with a four point rating. The ice cream was tasty and there was a large selection of flavours. Visiting Tricesimo again, naturally I went to sample Geco Gelato ice cream again. There was still a large selection of flavours. My choice, panna cotta with forest fruits, was so tasty and fresh, that I decided to step up my rating to five points. Emphatically to be recommended.
