The beach is close by in La Herradura, it’s not Sandy which means you don’t run the risk of getting sand all over you and/or the apartment you’re staying in. Locals and tourists are friendly. Lots of terrific pubs and restaurants, there’s a burger bar, lots of pizzarias anf more traditional Spanish restaurants. Most employees also speak English although they are happy for you to attempt the language. There are lots of shops with one of my favourites being the ‘bizarre’ which is large and often quiet (even during the summer), having almost everything you would need in it. As a 19 year old while it was hard to find other young people to socialise with La Herradura is a brilliant holiday destination for family, friends and couples!

Dani his staff always make customers feel welcome, whether it's just for a coffee, drinks or food, The tapas are extremely good plentiful.
