One thing Tasmanian does well and that's bakeries and this one won't let you down. With a huge range of delicious pies, cakes and slices to choose from. Scallop pie was really good and worth trying. Great dining area to stay and eat or takeaway. View all feedback.

Today, Anzac Day, 25 April 2022, after the Dawn Service in Launceston my family were looking for somewhere to have breakfast and a coffee. Whilst not a lot of cafes were open, Banjos Brisbane Street was. We noticed a people line coming out the door but decided to wait to be served. There was one young female sales assistant serving. What a cool, calm and dedicated person she was. The queue was patient whilst she took orders, dispensed food items and also made the coffee on her own. She did not get flustered and she had a great system going whilst maintaining her composure. WHAT AN ASSET to her employer. She was cool under pressure and served everyone in a great manner. She deserves praise and a raise. It is just a shame I did not get her name.
Lovely place to get a cuppa and something sweet here
This bakery has a variety of delicious pastries and baked goods, sweet and savoury. A great spot and something for everyone to enjoy!
