we did not resist and, after the journey india of April, we returned to eat Indian cuisine during our holiday in France. We took a menu and some à la carte dishes. All excellent. Recommended. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Le TAJ MAHAL:
suitable meals but the quality of the products is disappointing compared to last year. the vegetable samoussas seem to be frozen and the brig brig leaf too cooked then, the chicken (of medium quality to taste) with curry: the sauce a priori not made home but eatable; and the smoulch cake without backslids. The meal was plentiful in terms of quantity and the staff was trying to ensure that we had the opportunity to choose from the English menu. The food tasted good, but perhaps not the standard of an Indian meal in the UK. The costs were...appropriate and the service could not be failed. Great to sit outside and very well visited by locals.
read moreGood place, good food. It also has some vegetarian food. One of the best Nans and Pakoras. But must improve the music!
We lived in Geneva for several years and never found a decent Indo Paki restaurant that could compare with a good London restaurant. We even coined a word when we lived there... the oriental foods were sworn to match the local palate. But here... in Aix les Bain, about 80 km from where we are now living in France, we are really happy to have discovered a wonderful Indo Paki restaurant that offers not only great food, but also magnificent views of the lake and the mountains. I chose Kofta Curry (Rindfleischbälle) which I had eaten 40 years ago in Glasgow and more... but rarely found in London and never in Geneva or its surroundings. All appetizers and accompaniments were just as delicious our group of four is the best Indo Paki meal we eat outside the UK in this region, including Geneva. Very recommended ... and very cheap (at noon). And they had Indian Kingfisher beer.
