we had an excellent service. the food was great and the drinks were very tasty, they were extremely busy but sitting as soon as a table was available. a kind of hard to sit when all the tables are occupied and everyone enjoys their eating drinks. So for us whatever we wait, it was worth it! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Truago:
We ordered a medium rare burger that was overcooked and dry. The restaurant was empty, with only five tables occupied, and we waited for half an hour to receive our food. My friend ordered pierogies that he said tasted like Mrs. Ts from Walmart. The small bowl only contained six pierogies, and we felt that it was not worth the price. Overall, we were disappointed with our experience and would not return to this resta... View all feedback.
I've had negative experiences here before, but I kept giving the restaurant chances in the hopes that I just had a bad waitress, a bad hostess, that it was a one off. Yesterday's experience proved to me that the restaurant isn't worth it at all. This started with the reservation which was requesting a booth. We were made to sit outside, which I can understand running out of tables, but why not communicate that to your patrons before they waste their time. The table was unstable, probably because it was a deck table and we were sat just in front of the door, so that everytime someone passed with a plate, we had to duck. Then, when putting in our order we were asked if we'd like an appetizer to start. When asked where they were on the menu, the waitress informed us that the appetizers and desserts were included with the reservation and that we could serve ourselves what we wanted. We never received a kids menu, and the menu we received was a limited holiday menu, so we ordered 3 adult entrees, with our youngest, who is 8, just getting an order of fries and picking off of our plates. After we ate, I sent the kids to the desert table. The appetizers and desserts were rotated with new items coming out, so the kids went up a few times. No one told us there was a limit. After we paid our bill, as we were finishing our drinks and chatting as a family, another waitress (not the one we originally had) came up to the table to tell us that our 8 year old had eaten too much dessert. At this time we asked to speak to the owner, who did nothing to diffuse or rectify the situation. We left the restaurant and stopped at McDonald's on the way home. What a nightmare of an evening and a ruined holiday. I will not be going back.
