The knowledge of the tour leads incredible. An amazing journey into the past that explores the prerevolutionary time. Demonstrations and very well informed leaders. A wonderful experience. Very recommended. View all feedback.
What Luis R C doesn't like about Old Barracks Museum:
In my opinion it's too much money for the tickets. I didn't have a good time there. I feel I gave $20 away. I could only see a small room with the French Indian War Exhibit and a small room with a boring movie. No guides were available at the time to escort me on the other rooms. (I would had to wait half hour for that and I needed to check out at the hotel). And on top, no money back. Only a voucher so I could come... View all feedback.
Excellent historical site. Took the official tour and guide was very informative and made the entire experience super.

When we went it was cold outside. Only my daughter and myself showed up. The staff stiff did the entire tour and reenactments. The poor woodworker built a stool in 30 degree weather! He also made all the costumes as his tailoring shop was closed for covid.if I had money I would seriously donate to them. It was amazing.
Had been looking forward to a visit here as part of a historical tour of the Revolutionary War. Came with my brother, a fellow veteran, and other family members. I had been to the museum before and thought they would like the medical exhibits. We arrived a little before 3pm. We were met by an unfriendly young woman in the museum shop. We were told that the tours were over and all we were allowed to see was the shop. There should have been tours every hour with last one at 4pm. Having been to numerous other sites on our trip where people went out there way to make our experience terrific this was a huge disappointment …
Staff was helpful and informative, answering all of our questions. We were very impressed by the historical accuracy of everything, including making clothing and shoes on site. Don't miss the musket demonstration! (It's about way more than just the muskets.
