Great pizza! This place has been a staple for decades. Not much has changed, but be prepared to wait. Everyone loves this pizza. I like the chicken ranch. Chicken is nice and crispy. The dough on the pizza is nice and crunchy, and like a nice bread stick you could dip in marinara sauce. View all feedback.
What Cjg doesn't like about Covello's Pizza:
Had to stop coming here. These guys don 't use gloves. I seen where one guy will take your sandwich to the back, bare hands and all to get peppers and come back bare hands and all and all and continue to make your sandwich. We don 't know what he 's doing back there. Could be picking his nose as far as we know. Then I seen the phone guy put down the cordless phone on the counter, pick it up and next thing a sandwich... Great Pizza and Cheese steak sandwiches!!! Great service too! I have several pizza places around my way but prefer going to Covello's!! Worth the drive!!
Ordered their large plain pie 12 pc wings and 2 liter soda special pretty decent price for the amount of food. The pizza is a pretty decent size had a good amount of sauce and cheese, dough was a little soft so I’d prob ask for a well done pie but the taste and fluffiness are there. The Mild wings are some of the best I’ve had in the arena, sauce was a perfect balance of a little sweet and a bold kick that paired well with the crispy wing. Can see why this continues to be a staple in Trenton.
The specialty pizzas are the best here and well worth the drive. I really like the old photos of Trenton that hang on the walls and the place is always clean. I highly recommend Covello's.
Buffalo chicken pizza is amazing and so is the chicken Alfredo
