In the winter of 2020, Chef Doug crafted a special brunch that left a lasting impression on me. The menu was incredible, featuring locally sourced, fresh ingredients that created a unique dining experience. The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant added to the charm of the meal. Doug provides a truly one of a kind experience! Everything from the food to the atmosphere is wonderful. Can't recommend enough and I definitely hope to be back soon!
I hate to do this review as we would like to keep SPER to ourselves! Absolutely outstanding! Food, decor, intimacy (just our family) and Dowg (Chef/Owner). Every course was terrific. Charcuterie Board, Salad with Cod Cake; Soup and Main courses (Trout, Beef, Pork, Shrimps and root vegetables). A true artist that presented unique variations on each dish that were universally delicious. Do yourself a favour and bring you closest friends and family to this extraordinary culinary experience!
Had our first take-home feast from Sper last night. Incredible food. Chef Doug is a food artist. I highly recommend this gourmet experience. Looking forward to his next menu.
Chef Doug prepared us a special brunch back in winter of 2020, but it was so memorable and delicious that I still think about it regularly. Incredible menu, local fresh ingredients, unlike anything we've ever had. Beautiful cozy little restaurant with lovely charming touches. Looking forward to going back again soon! If you visit Warkworth it's a must, along with Lucky Star's Cafe, and Centre Main Chocolate.
