La Pyramide; Camping* De Tremolat

I used the camping with my family and we had diner there 3 days in à raw !!! They don't do food no more but a food truck come there thé evening and so you can eat from the truck in the bar while having a drink from the bar !! I can highly recommend the burgers !!! The bar staff are very polite and helpful

This curious modern(-ish) pyramidal building sits in a lovely campsite overlooking the Dordogne river and the bassin nautique at Tremolat. At the end of August, just after the end of the French holiday, it was pretty empty and a bit soulless but the staff were bright and cheerful. There are themed evenings with live music, a pizza oven which also does take always for campers and locals alike, moules frites one evening and even a visit from the Dordogne chippy! There is table football and the setting is lovely. Worth a visit for a drink at lunchtime by the river or a meal if there is an event perhaps.

We visit this this place every year, Summer and October, such a friendly place for a drink and the food is fantastic!!

Really friendly and helpful staff. Amazing burgers a real lifesaver after a long day driving and setting up camp during a thunderstorm!
