Very good food, the manager very friendly, special mention to the sweetbreads
I have a few hours to spare at CDG, so I tried this place. This is a review from an American perspective since I currently work in US. The vibe is cozy but the server is professional and made sure everything is great. I came at lunch hour and the restaurant is completely empty for some reason, so I had their undivided attention for sure. The restaurant is small and too quiet, so a bit of music could have liven up the place. Almost a perfect vibe after a long trip. Food is great. I went with their recommendation and got some prawns in sauce, lamb, and a banana y dessert. This is some of the best prawns I have seen sweet, soft, subtle but mesh well with the pork and cheese sauce and red wine. The lamb chop slice like butter and pair well with the sauce they made. The mash potatoes, mushrooms and gratin goes nicely as well. The final banana cake has a light crunch on top while the rest is so incredibly airy soft. The cake vanishes in seconds. The sever is friendly and we had a pleasant chat. I felt attended to yet have just enough personal time to enjoy my food. Would recommend.
