Nice little restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. The pizzas were excellent, fresh and tasty, with an emphasis on the topping rather than the base. And the ice creams were delicious! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Rocca:
Very cosy restaurant with unusual decor and seating. Not typically Italian at all!We had delicious pizza here, a little on the expensive side but it's the only restaurant in the town and we were able to walk from where we were staying so didn't mind too much. The menu isn't extensive if you don't want pizza and desserts are basic but very nice. There was a nice atmosphere, it almost felt like we were in someone's fron... View all feedback.
Came here last night and wish we had visited earlier. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff was very welcoming. I had the four seasons pizza that was delicious and my husband chose the seafood pasta he also said was... delicious. Our two deserts were beautiful. Would definitely recommend.
We haven't tried pizza here yet, what could be, why we were usually satisfied, but not in some details. At the starters, the scallops in the “Tartare de coquilles st.jaques” were rather sparse, the other ingredients were too strong and sour. The carpaccio was beautiful... balanced and went well. We had osso bucco, my favorite, noix d’entrecôte, tagliatelle saumon, t.carbonara.. Apart from the fact that the Osso-Bucco was overwhelmed by his sauce, everyone was very happy. The desserts tried: Crème brûlée, very nice; simple vanilla ice cream, delicious; best tiramisu my wife ever cost; Coupe Brittany, crazy indulgence of calories and taste of cream... All in all, a very mixed experience, hard to decide the lower line. To be fair, the reputation for their pizza seems justified by the passers-by of our table. The very comfortable room was fully booked and full of happy diners. We'll try a pizza at the next visit. We're local, probably means that soon.
As the title tells you, we had one of the best pizza and pasta here in a long time! Everything was fresh and very tastefull! The location and the staff were very nice, warm and welcome!! A true feeling of the countrylife of France with...good food and nice people!
Once we were here and left a good assessment, we were so disappointed this time. I had Osso Bucco last time and saw that it was the house specialty, so we booked for the evening. When we arrived and were filled, we ordered an aperitif and then said that the Osso Bucco was not available. Since the restaurant makes a very limited carte, this meant that we really had to have pizzas that we are not all interested in. Nevertheless, we could do something else, but make the best of it, so we ordered two different pizzas and asked them to be served half and half. Both halves were really not very appetizing. The PESCATORE was a collection of very small pieces of seafood, the SAYOYARD was a little better but open not much better than mediocre. How bad. We came with such hopes, after the last time, to have crashed them by quite careless falling down their headline court.
Fantastic pizza with lovely crisp base and fresh toppings. The steak Osso Bucco were also very good too. Friendly place with very good service. A very good family restaurant
