Table reservation for today at 12:30 p.m Agreed by telephone with the landlord approx. 14 days ago was not fulfilled. The Angercafe was closed!! We stood with several people in front of closed doors. Maybe that was a good thing. From the outside, the café makes a unkempt, unclean impression with plastic flowers in front of the entrance. Unfortunately, we cannot report on the interior of the café. The Angercafe owner's response to my review is a brazen lie. If the host cannot even remember an agreed reservation, this could be an early stage of Alzheimer's. The landlord obviously doesn't know the content of his own website. The opening hours on the website of the café are from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily. During this period, it should be possible to make snacks and main dishes (lunch) and also out-of-home deliveries. A parcel shop (GLS) and (DHL) should also be usable in the period mentioned. Instead of apologizing for the omission, you are insulted with a brazen lie. You shouldn't deal with alienated guests like that.

The dumplings with my goulash came from a bag (imprint of the packaging was still visible). We went to a restaurant where dumplings were on the menu because we thought we were in Thuringia and were getting Thuringian dumplings. There was a slice of sandwich cheese on top of the spiced meat which made an unattractive impression. Everything is very outdated. I prefer not to start talking about the sanitary facilities. It 's frightening that something like this still exists in a country full of regulations. It was our last day in Thuringia and we just wanted to have a nice meal. The disappointment is great. I wish the inn every success with their regular guests, but unfortunately not again for us.
