Legal Sea Foods Braintree - tree Town

One of our lobster was mushy and we have since learned that it is due to the lobster having gone bad (was dead for too long)! Management waived the cost for our soup and a new lobster was prepared. Needless to say it took a while to prepared the second one at which time we were no longer hungry and took it to go. Instead of showing genuine remorse, the manager was indifferent. We have been here many times before and this is the first time we had an issue with their food. The indifference is concerning please inspect your food before you put it in your mouth.

Consistently prepared fresh seafood--that is why anyone chooses Legal--and Legal Seafood Braintree doesn't disappoint. It is the most reliable choice for a restaurant meal in the South Shore Plaza area. That said, there is a tendency to oversalt the sides and the sound level is off the charts. Don't expect to be able to carry on a conversation at normal voice levels.

I went for the Celtics Celebration win for their 18th banner. I had the steamed Lobster with boiled corn and potatoes. It was delicious and all for $18. I also had a Mango lemon drop martini that was deliciously AMAZING just like the lobster.

It was a gathering of seven friends, and the restaurant was very accommodating to put us all at a good table toward the back where we could enjoy ourselves without disturbing other people. The food is always good and the wine was fine. Place for a gathering.

The service was slow. The food was overcooked and dry. We had to send one meal back. It was so bad. They re-cooked the meal, but it took so long we had to take it to go. We won't be going back.
