We celebrated a master's degree. The service was impeccable and the staff very friendly and helpful. The dishes were delicate and tasty, with very fresh products. We were overall very satisfied. Special appreciation goes to chef Carla who, with her skill and friendliness, managed to conquer even the most particular palates. We will come back for sure. We arrived late after a flight from London, but Iolanda (the manager) was there to greet us and ensure everything was OK. Indeed it was. The four of us stayed three nights, dining at the hotel's very fine restaurant each night. The rooms are spacious as are the well-fitted bathrooms, the bed the best we experienced on our trip, the decor tasteful throughout. Breakfast was plentiful. Throughout we were made extraordinarily welcome by Iolanda, who certainly goes above and beyond to look after her guests. Although Trecastagni town has little appeal, Etna and Taormina are within a short drive, as is Catania and its airport.
