As part of an AirBnb Pompeii and Winery tour, attended a brief vineyard tour, wine and lunch tasting. Our hostess provided a knowledgeable and great experience, tasted 5 exceptional wines and the chef modified his menu for my food intolerance. Dining room is elegant, patio area lovely.

Beautiful vineyard , great service, and good food. The appetizers were definitely the star of the show. Pasta was a tad bit al dente, but didn’t dampen the experience whatsoever. The wine selection offered to us was amazing.

A Perfect Day of Wine, Food, and History at Casa Setaro Winery! Our visit to a vineyard at the base of Mount Vesuvius was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. The experience was beautifully organized—from the warm welcome to the final glass of wine. The vineyard tour was informative and relaxed. Their Vineyard dog is the cutest. Our guide walked us through the unique volcanic soil and the grape varieties grown in the region. After the tour, we enjoyed a generous wine tasting, featuring several reds, whites, and rosés—all delicious and distinct, with earthy notes from the volcanic terrain. Each wine was perfectly paired with a multi-course lunch. The atmosphere was casual yet elegant—set indoors with views of the vineyard. The staff was passionate, friendly, and eager to share their love of wine and the region’s heritage. This experience is a must for wine lovers, foodies, and anyone interested in the rich culture of Italy. We left with full hearts, full bellies, and a few cases of wine being shipped home.
