However, some guests experienced disappointment with limited portions, lack of vegan dessert options, and additional costs for water and card transactions. The atmosphere was noted to be cozy and rustic, although service quality varied. Overall, the food was delicious, the wine selection extensive, and the service fantastic. Visiting during quieter weekdays is recommended for a more intimate experience. Trawool is praised as a wonderful spot in the countryside for a satisfying meal.
A beautiful setting, excellent food, really wonderful staff. It's becoming a regular catch-up location for a girls lunch
First time at this restaurant food was amazing. Ambience was amazing beautiful place wonderful outlook definitely going to return very soon hidden gem.
Lovely place to eat , staff awesome and good delicious and good value for money
While visiting from interstate, I booked a table online at Wild Water for a special occasion being my son’s 21st which I specified. Greeted without a smile by what appeared to be most senior staff member on that night, who at a guess was no older than 25, with his shirt untucked and hanging out. That evenings maître de? Had to share space partitioned partially by a curtain with a car rally group and had to sit through hearing all their speeches and daily breakdown and dinner white noise. Took 20 mins to be served our first drink. Young waitress didn’t even know the name of one of the entrees she was serving. Had to go and ask to have entree plates removed after another 20 min wait. Had to go and ask for more table service to get next round of drinks and water. Ordered pappardelle which was uncooked and chewy. Took up to most senior waiter who said, oh, that’s no good and walked off to kitchen. He comes back saying chef said that pasta is made with semolina and meant to be like that, so I said don’t bother replacing. Sat through rest of dinner feeling completely side lined, undervalued as a paying customer, at the mercy of junior staff who didn’t understand the concept of how to make guests feel special let alone someone celebrating their 21st. Eventually some acknowledgement for our dissatisfaction was forthcoming by waitress offering one dessert on the house, didn’t even come from most senior staff member or maître de. I left no tip, I was devastated for my son, we were all gobsmacked by such poor service. It was a Wednesday night…management have a lot to answer for!
Delicious and generous food. Modern, Australian flavor combinations. Stunning room and location. We also felt welcome with our kids which doesn't happen often enough in restaurants of this caliber.
