McGees 31 is our new favorite place. Easter Brunch was amazing, but that wasn't our first visit. We are local and hard to please. It is very difficult to find a restaurant that is actually worth the costs, one that is not only overpriced or directed to tourists. That's the point. We love the menu and the cook behind it. Every time we were there, he came to check our experience. We will continue to enjoy McGees 31 as... View all feedback.
The best place to drink food. Great food, great service and the owners actually give a dam over the food service, not the . Some places that recognize that there is the staff who does or brakes a place of business. You have happy employees, you will have happy customers.
You’ll find some of the typical bar and grill food offerings here at McGee’s 31 — but what’s not typical is the way the food is presented: we found everything arrived beautifully plated. The lightly breaded fries were a hit at our table. I liked the selection of Michigan beers. I hope to come back soon. There is much more I would like to try.
Wow! I was so surprised today, a rare case. In nature, people like what they like and go to restaurants are always a shot in the dark, like your burger or steak, directly cooked under the season, or just a crispy waitress. That didn't happen today, I'm from tc, but in the last few years we've been down, but came to see family and such. My mother, sister, and I decided to go and I was tired first because I know how the restaurant-buz and since then have become very critical to my food choice, so most of my expectations are a new experience, a disappointing or worse. Usually I always have a complant or many more, again, not today! I had Calamari, with a kissed touch of her dough, they were evenly cut, super soft, not fishy. They had a mixture of plastered paprika that had a fine sweet, salty, pimples, also she came with a fresh shrimp of spring sauce. Not over spices or sauces, came with a herbic marinara. I then tried them with some paprika and mixed everything together and every bite was new and exciting. I'd eat there every day, and I'll be a regular soon! Mom had a bad ass plate of fresh fried nachos, I also loved, and my sister got the burger, again great! Homemade Burger Bake I would have used for a pillow! The fries tho....I'm Irish, I know potatoes. These are the best pommes I've ever experienced. Not salty or soggy, no oils everywhere. Nothing I ate made me feel like I needed excessive napkin use. Barkeeper was great, the cook helped everyone like crazy and the real kindness and care he showed was humiliating. I want to come back! My favorite restaurant. Thank you.
