After venturing out again post-COVID, I was excited to return. During our visit on November 3, 2023, however, I was disappointed. The senior coffee served was lukewarm and a day old, and they had run out of maple rolls. The cinnamon roll I received was small, cold, and hard, so I had to soak it in my cool coffee to make it somewhat palatable.
I'll definitely make it a point to check if the coffee is fresh and if th... View all feedback.
Wow! What a great place. The pie was amazing (cherry crumble) and the apple dumpling was over the top! Loved it so much we went back the next morning for breakfast. Quiche with pumpkin bread was perfect. All that said, the service was just as amazing. Great staff who appear to be truly happy there. Lots of help and smiling faces. Wish we had one in Charlotte NC!
Pretty disappointed that they were out of tuna since I can’t eat eggs or chicken.
Excellent pies and a MICHIGAN MUST!!!! Can never go wrong with the summer pies, including the infamous Cherry! Don't forget your Cinna Roll fix! Melts in the mouth ? and add a personalized coffee while you dine comfortably in or outside under the awning ?
I do cherry pies literally from Maine to Alaska and South. Nice, whole cherries in ideal sauce with great crust. This was one of the very best reasonably priced. Didn't find online! A lady at another bakery said to come here for cherry pies. On this 12,000 mile trip we had horrible pies at Norski Nook in WI $40) and King Orchards in MI. First time I've ever had what must have been cherry juice pie. Unbelievably, we actually gave up threw them in trash. King's actually had clumps!! of sugar cornstarch.
We were there for the cherry pie. We we're disappointed with the bottom crust. It was so mushy so as to be difficult to find. The filling was a little watery. However... the cherry turnover had a delightful bottom crust that was wonderfully crisp and caramelized. The turnover made up for the pie disappointment.
