My favorite local 'dive ' bar. My bartender doesn 't ask for my order, just points at me and says 'wiskey? ' Lots of live music which is usually fantastic. I 'm not even really a country fan which is the genre here, but I 'm here for it anyway. Fun, casualand a good time. View all feedback.
What Bruce Allen Smith doesn't like about Field House Sports:
Bartender was friendly, nice atmosphere, pool tables look like they could use some attention, although I didn't play. They have an eight ball tourney on Monday nights and 9 ball on I think Thursday nights. Mondays 8 ball looked well attended. View all feedback.

Nice little hang out spot in Travelers Rest. Pool tables, plenty of screens and great drink selection. Some of the best fried pickles I've had. Not crazy about the way they do their wings, they always seem to have a burnt taste because they grill themoff first. The burgers and cheese sticks are good.
The bartender was good. She deserved a good tip. They tried to charge me more than what the wings were listed on the menu. Thankfully they charged the menu price after questioning it. The manager wanted to give me excuses why the menu price was $3less than the ticket price from the register. Reluctantly, she fixed my ticket to the menu price. The wings were terrible to behonest. There was very little meat on them and they were way overcooked. I hope they get it fixed. I like this place and wantto go back. Again, the bartender was good.
09-05-22 time for a current review. My son and I went here looking to watch college football (Clemson). One would think that with a name like Fieldhouse Sports Bar that, maybe, it would actually be about sports. They had the game on initially, buteventually (before 2nd qtr. Was over) they had karaoke. Trust me, there's not many things worse than a grown men who had toomuch to drink thinking they can sing. They still had game on, but turned sound off (see my review of Mojos). I think they needto focus on being a sports bar. They even had one guy (see pics) get too drunk and want to fight. The cops were called- he droveoff- think he got arrested, but he was wanting to fight. That didn't start until the manager/ employee guy (whatever he is)started singing karaoke. Does anyone know of a true sports bar in Travelers Rest area? I'm so over the karaokestuff. Nice little sports bar, but you can barely hear the games so maybe we shouljust call it apub. I echo one reviewers sentiment in that staff rarely comes to tables. One has to walk up to the bar and ask for everythingfrom a menu, to beer, to food Be careful if you order a hamburger!
