The restaurant and Biergarten were much more traditional, with typical Bavarian fare and the Traunstein Hofbrau beers. Breakfast was an attractive buffet of typical German selections.It was an easy walk into the beautiful old town center, and to the three breweries in town.The only downside was that on Saturday night the adjacent club had loud music until the wee hours. The weather was too warm to sleep with the windows closed, so earplugs were necessary.

Great food (typical Bavarian with Schnitzel, roast and dumplings, ....) and a friendly and fast service.
