Apparently he didn't like the fact, that we paid by card (his machine didn't work properly? so he acted like it was our fault. There was no indication that we had to pay by cash, so it was not our fault. Not a people pleaser.

We cho... read more We stopped for lunch at this ancient and humble old cafe. It had no menu the waiter just asked which pasta you preferred and gave you a choice of sauces. We chose the fussily with the spicy tomato sauce, gorgeous! Served with crusty bread and Parmesan. I finished with a double macchiato, best I've had in Italy!
