Good food especially the mixed seafood starter. Staff were very welcoming and friendly except Armundo (had a name tag on) who just paced up and down and for the most part was monosyllabic. He quite often came to stop at our table, tried to take plates away before we’d finished eating. Given the stark contrast to the other staff it was just amusing. Quite frankly mate, your manner was weird and you are the reason this lovely restaurant doesn’t have five stars. We ate the traditional couscous, swordfish, some deserts and the delicious Marsala wine. Although americanos in glasses doesn’t work.
The restaurant is very centrally located and easy to find. The food is excellent and they offer a good number of options for good local wine.
Ordered the couscous and spaghetti vongole which were very disappointing. The starter (mixed seafruits) was okay. Watch out if you order a bear. You get the most expensive one: €8.
Today my wife and I had a seafood lunch. The mussels were excellent, the fried calamari was the best ever. The wine was top-notch, the dessert was delicious, and the coffee and liqueurs were excellent. The only flaw keeping us from giving it five stars was the couscous, which wasn't very flavorful for our taste. The service was impeccable, the staff were very kind and helpful. Highly recommended for couples, families, and business meetings.
We had a delicious lunch, with four different first courses, all excellent. We were passing through and in a bit of a hurry. The staff was fantastic and courteous; despite the large crowd, it felt like they were there just for us, without ever being overbearing. The food was excellently prepared and the price was very reasonable. It's truly worth it. The location was perfect, too.
