It's not the best Ch... read more We went here whilst waiting for the boat to go to Favignana. They have a 10 euro lunch special which includes a starter and 2 other dishes. It's not the best Chinese I've ever had but for 10 euros who cares. I actually enjoyed it.

We compared reviews, and went to Il Pechino and checked out the menu . The receptionist Veronica was friendly and informative so we ate there last night. All things considered, we had a nice meal. The dumplings and pancakes for our Peking duck were very well made.. The duck was a little dry but perfectly crisped skin always wins for me, the beef weng chou was very tasty and rice perfectly cooked. I would have preferred scallions, not celery with the duck but their spicy Asian coleslaw was delicious. The only thing we hated was the gloppy sauce that came with the duck. Too much flour and tomato. They should not serve it. I asked for a sweeter sauce, like plum and what they served me was fine. They have a good selection of Asian beer. I am giving the restaurant 4 which I hope they improve to on the food side because our host Linda and all the wait staff were so nice and such gracious hosts despite us arriving latish and being the last to leave. We never felt rushed and will definitely return.

The spring role was swimming in oil. The duck was so inviting and soaking in oil that we had to leave it.

The restaurant is located 7 blocks up the road on corner of Via Ammiraglio Staiti and Vicolo Raisi (we had already given up hope finding it... . Precisely that is Via Ammiraglio Staiti number 19, as indicated on the calendar the restaurant kindly gave us as a present : So, dont try to find Il Pechino by Tripadvisor map!
