We could not be happier with our wine tasting vineyard tour and cooking class at Basileo in Tramonti. We had a private tour with the owner and his wonderful parents. We had the opportunity to see their vineyard, see how they made their wines, and make a delicious meal that we ate at the end. The wine is also excellent. Truly a wonderful and perfectly unique experience. I recommend also purchasing the wines. We purchased 2 bottles, and enjoyed during our stay in Positano (last pic. Would 100% recommend.

When you meet the family you appreciate the love as well as the skill and experience that goes into making a good wine. For sure not a wine to be found on any UK supermarket shelf, however its a well respected local wine that in tasting becomes one of those pleasures in experiencing wines from different areas. If you find yourself in the Amalfi coast area seek it out and enjoy.
