The Brasserie - Tralee

Absolutely thrilled with our experience at Hotel on NYE for my sister's wedding. The staff's top-class service and impeccable attention to detail surpassed any 5-star hotel I've been to. Special kudos to TJ and Padraig, exceptional managers whose leadership reflected in every aspect of our celebration. They truly made it a memorable experience.

My partner and I stayed recently. We arrived on one of those dark rainy evenings and were exhausted by our journey. As soon as we entered Ballygarry House everything started to glow. The team there was so warm and welcoming. By luck, we were bumped up to what was described as “superhero” status and our room was upgraded. Food: Yummy, simple food done extremely well and cooked to perfection. Had dinner twice and breakfast was delicious. Accommodation: Comfortable, clean, quiet, stylish but not too stuffy, recently refreshed linen and towels, well maintained rooms. Staff/Team/Mgt: Where to start So helpful, friendly and all about us which was exactly what we needed. Even the owner of the hotel was all over us. This is our new favourite hideaway. We will return. Kerry is beautiful too so it’s a no brainer for us. All the best to the team there and Kudos to you all.

Ate here New Year’s Day, it’s a little gem of a spot to go and have a nice and relaxing meal, nice little alcove to sit and enjoy. Lots of well presented staff. Food was super quick and at a great price. I had the Steak Sandwich, super nice! I enjoyed the few hours here. And the great staff, all of them!

We had our wedding day at Ballygarry on the 21/12/23 and to say they exceeded our expectations would be an understatement, I firstly have to mention the wedding manager Amanda, she is a brides dream to deal with from the start to finish her level of professionalism is second to none, she is extremely consistent with communication and gives constant support and reassurance throughout all the planning, I really could not thank her enough for the support throughout. From picking our menu, meal tasting and run throughs before the day itself it was so effortless, the venue is extremely well run with every staff member so professional to deal with. They take so much out of your hands and do so much extra so you can really enjoy your day without worry! Our manager on the day was Harry and he was fantastic a great character who went above and beyond for us throughout the day, he made sure it all ran smoothly with no faults at all, even our suppliers on the day commented on how they had not seen a venue to run so well from the ceremony, to drinks reception, to the meal and late into the night, it all flowed without any issues, our guests could not have been happier they all commented on the venue especially the meal. It’s all the extra touches that make it such a special place, the lodge, the pavilion and especially the VW camper which added such fun to photographs and a special mention to Padraig from dropping us to the lodge with “going to the chapel” on the radio, it calmed the nerves and got all the bridal party in great spirits. We were lucky to get the visit Santa on our day also with our little boy, set up in the beautiful cottage on the grounds another feature that makes it extra special! To Padraig, Thys, Amanda and Harry we cannot thank you and all the staff enough for creating a day we will forever be grateful for!

Went to the Pavillion restaurant for dinner. For entering the front door the service the atmosphere was fantastic. Sat straight away. Food was full of flavour 2 courses main and dessert with coffee from al carte menu total 108 euros. This place is beautiful stylish service excellent. The chicken Supreme creamymash potato. fish and chips batter chrispy fish cakes full of flavour.
