We’re finally back at the beautiful Grand Hotel for another wonderful meal at Samuel's Restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their starters and main courses, which we all agreed were exceptional in quality. We ordered one dessert, a delicious apple pie so large it had to be shared among us. The staff were efficient and polite, and we felt very safe with all the Covid precautions in place. The dining atmosphere was elegant and welcoming, and the new bathroom facilities are stylish and modern. Well done, The Grand—you never disappoint. It’s great to be back!

They were very busy but the staff were so friendly and efficient and were served almost instantly. We had delicious starters and main courses, very large portions. The atmosphere was great too. We were too full for dessert and had coffee instead but then they brought out a complimentary dessert and sparkler and sang happy birthday to me. How good is that! Fabulous meal and music in the bar afterwards by 'broken strings ' was great.

I can honestly say I've never had a reason to complain about the quality of the food there. Occasionally, I might get a bit impatient with slow service or receiving the wrong coffee, but when it comes to the quality of the dishes, Samuel's consistently earns my GOOD rating, and often even SUPERB. I don't judge a meal solely by the main course, but more by the quality, flavor, crispness, freshness, and presentation of the vegetables, sauces, and sides. Samuel's excels in these areas every time. The desserts and puddings are also consistently excellent. One dessert that truly stands out on the menu, though not always available, is the chef's specialty parfait. In my opinion, it's the best I've ever had—and many others would agree. As we face a lockdown, I know I’ll deeply miss my lunches at Samuel's for a while.

The menu has a great variety, and the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing. Natalie was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Our children were also very well cared for. We will definitely visit again on our next trip to Tralee.

The varied menu offered something for everyone, and Natalie provided exceptional service, guiding us in selecting the ideal dishes. The food was delicious, expertly crafted, and beautifully presented. We eagerly anticipate returning to Samuel's Restaurant in the near future.
