Villagers Inn - Trail Canada

If I could give a zero star review, i would. Very untrustworthy and not dependable. We booked/reserved a room and last minute they canceled our reservation. They knew we were coming from Northern Alberta, but they didn't care....They left us stranded, unable to get a room anywhere. DON NOT trust them!

I was there visiting one of my closest friends but I've stayed there before. It's one of the least expensive hotels in the west Kootenays but it's pretty nice, the staff are friendly there's a pub just off the lobby. There are also a couple of rooms you can rent monthly if you need a longer term rental. I would definitely stay there again would do the monthly stay if I needed to. I definitely recommend this place over just about any other place I've stayed in the west Kootenays.

Rusted out car on flat tires parked directly in front of office. Registration desk was only staffed a few hours a day. Lobby and common areas of motel were filthy (stairs were covered in dog fur and had not been vacuumed in weeks). Floors of room felt dirty (glad we brought slippers). Bathroom filthy with dirty running toilet. Decent WIFI.

It's the only place to stay in Fruitvale, the price is reasonable but it's kinda run down. It's fine in a pinch or if u r low income but otherwise I wouldn't really recommend it.

Clean rooms and friendly staff great water pressure for showers and really hot
