While some visitors found the food to be average or disappointing, others enjoyed items like pulled pork sandwiches and Greek salads. The cafe's location overlooking the quays adds to its appeal, and patrons appreciate the efficient service and friendly staff. Overall, the cafe offers a solid dining option with a good atmosphere, especially for families looking for a quick and tasty meal.
Reasonably priced food, shortbread lovely, scone and sausage baps. Friendly staff and good choice switched to panini etc for lunch time at
We stopped off here, for afternoon tea, very friendly staff, calm atmosphere, nice cake, and a nice cup of tea.
Have spent a nice trip round the museum we stopped for a drink and a cake. Partial to an eccles cake and since they looked homemade I had one with my coffee, the lady serving was very pleasant and told me they make their own....This was probably the best eccles cake I've ever had, spiced to perfection. I ate it, went back and bought the rest of the stock to take home. Sorry if I left none for anyone else, but I wasn't going to miss out on eating more of them. If you like eccles cakes, come here.
Friendly staff, wide selection of cakes and drinks on offer. Plenty of socially distanced seating. Perfect place for a quick snack before or after your museum visit.
The food and drink is expensive over for a can of cola! I suppose its OK if you don't pay for admission to the museum they have to get income somehow. Food quality was OK and the premises were clean.
