The house mix starter for one... read more I ordered a meal for myself as a treat while taking care of a sick family member. Unfortunately, most of it ended up in the trash. The house mix starter for one was actually really nice, but the house special fried rice in sauce was terrible. It smelled like boiled fatty duck with thick fat on it, and everything was steamed with hard rice. The chicken with cashew dish had the same sauce as the rice and tasted strange and flavorless, with rubbery chicken. I enjoyed the starter, but the rest was unpleasant and will be thrown away. It's disappointing to waste money and food, but I can't eat it. Even the prawn crackers didn't taste right.

I had the mixed platter to start, very average perhaps even poor, it was tastless and just microwave reheated I think. The red Thai curry was appaling, I couldnt even eat...it, it was gloopy, thick and the appearance was awful, same with the green curry. However the Chinese chicken curry was excellent , spicy prawns were lovely and the beef and mushroom was good too. The easiest of dishes, Prawn crackers, were awful, cold and chewy, not sure how you get them wrong !. I would never get takeout from there again. Very disppointing to have most of the meal be inedible.

Came here Tuesday 22nd, as my normal place was closed, thought I’d give it a try after not having a meal from here for a good few years as it used to to terribl... read more Came here Tuesday 22nd, as my normal place was closed, thought I’d give it a try after not having a meal from here for a good few years as it used to to terrible, got my meal, took it home, the somosa was hard and burnt, and the main meal was terrible, I threw it away, straight away i remembered why I stopped going all them years ago, when it was called lotus house and new Ying wah was in the village, this place should do timperley a favour and close its doors for good, I will never ever have a meal from here again, least I was throwing up this time, maybe because I did bin it,
