I have e... read more The menu was new and the prices inflated by 30% ish, which was the warning of change. I love Indian food. In fact it is my most favourite of all foods. I have eaten at the Double Tree many times and have written and raved about its food on a few occasions. With a heavy heart it is now on my list of “never again”. There were 3 of us who all were disappointed. The popadoms were pre cooked thus they had lost their crispness. This supported 3 mains that were sauce rich with little meat. My Lamb was so tough it was like eating the heal of my shoe shoe with gristle. The 2 chicken dishes should have had nice pieces of chunky chicken, but no. Just small dry nuggets of sadness. The sauces were equally sad and disappointing. Avoid this once great curry house as it is now an empty memory and more shed like when compared to its former self.

The staff is always wonderful and the food is consistently well-prepared. They offer a wide variety of special dishes in addition to their regular menu.

The restaurant manager was extremely rude. Appalling experience. I will never return and strongly recommend others to steer clear.
