Common Ground is a specialty coffee and tea shop located in the heart of Altrincham. We are proud to offer locally sourced food and drinks from the North West region. Our menu includes a variety of options such as all day brunch, lunch, open sandwiches, soup, cakes, and pastries for dine-in or take away. Additionally, we have a full liquor license and serve cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and soft drinks. Our establishment provides table service, contactless payment options, and a new ordering app is currently in development for pre-orders, click and collect, and tableside ordering. We take cleanliness seriously, with thorough sanitization protocols in place, including regular cleaning of high touch surfaces. To ensure social distancing, we have added measures such as sneeze guards, hand sanitizing stations, foot openers on toilet doors, and floor markings. Furthermore, we have ample outdoor seating at both our front and rear terrace areas. We welcome guests of all ages, families, cyclists, and their furry companions as we are dog-friendly and proud members of the Chatty Cafe scheme.

The staff at this restaurant were fantastic, giving us a warm welcome and serving great food. They were especially accommodating of our baby, helping us with the pram and seating us at our reserved table. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.
This cafe is beautifully decorated and conveniently located across from the market. They offer delicious breakfast and brunch options at reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly, making it a great spot for brunch.
We ordered the full English breakfast and it was delicious, made with high-quality ingredients and nicely presented. The tea selection was also great.
A small jewel of a café/restaurant near the beating heart of altrincham. serve delicious and tasty artisan meals from morning to afternoon every day served by friendly, competent staff. it is a great place to meet from their shopping trip, business or friends and have a “Catch-up”. visit them simply, relax, and watch the hectic of daily life by not making any of experienced baristas on the special coffee, i.e. the names and tees that are quite open. very definitiw a visit worth and once visited, it is guaranteed that they will return soon.
One of my favorite places in altrincham. great coffee excellent eating. well occupied and very accommodating. the plans of today's owner to open in the evening are exactly what is necessary to develop the late-night culture in the city.
