Today, six of us went to this restaurant for breakfast - three small children, a teen, and two adults. I have to say, the buffet was absolutely spotless and everything was fresh. The cleanliness of all areas was the best I have seen in this type of service. The variety of food available was extensive, ranging from cereal and pancakes to a full English breakfast. What Herbbooth doesn't like about Brewers Fayre At The Coach House:
We had our last visit to the Coach House because it closes on 31st May 2023. We have been here several times over the years but had to come for our last lunch visit before it closes next week. Mind you we had enough points on our Bonus Club card to get a free bottle of wine, but we said our last farewell to the staff, especially Pippa we hope she gets what she wants when the place closes. Again, been there for our family meal, one of our favourite places to dine. Amazing choice on the menu and the portions sizes are very generous, but not too much. Staff are always very accommodating and helpful, plus they give it a very friendly and warm atmosphere. Needless to say we will be returning. Thanks guys.
Arrived at our hotel which is attached with a toddler at tea time to be told they was fully booked tables free all around) told we couldn't come in.....wouldn't even let us order a drunk or anything for toddler....went back to hotel at 5.55pm and checked online and was able to book for 6pm
Terrible experience. We waited over an hour for our food in a nearly empty restaurant. Many items were out of stock, forcing us to make multiple changes to our order. The food arrived in stages, leaving some diners waiting while others ate. My medium-rare steak was extremely undercooked. The staff provided little attention or explanation for the delays. We did not receive our loyalty points. We will not be returning.
The customer service at this restaurant was exceptional, with a very understanding manager who accommodated my friends' dietary restrictions. Thank you for being so accommodating to our allergies.
The service was excellent and the food was good, chicken was succulent and was made to my liking and would definitely come again very soon
