Have been several times and the fish and chips are great. The only inconvenience is that there is no Eftpos available which given it is 2017 Eftpos should be available. I no i can't be the only person who doesn't carry cash. Won't stop me from visiting. I just remember to take cash. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Fish Bits:
The flake, minimum chips and two scallops were all fine. The batter on the fish was a little on the soft side once we got it home, but fish itself was moist and flavorsome. The scallops always go down well and chips do the job. View all feedback.

Never written a Google review but had to for this one. Been going to fish bits for a little while now and all I can say is amazing fish and chips, 10/10 service and very well run shop. Everytime I’ve gone there you feel welcome and are served as promptly as they can. Even when under the pump the service has been great. Never felt unwelcome and ignored at this place. From the Mornington Peninsula and stopped into Fish Bits for dinner as my partner and I were passing through. Unfortunately we were very unsatisfied with our souvlakis, lamb was very chunky and chewing and chicken was very dry, herby so made both very hard to swallow. Garlic sauce had chucks of garlic in it so made it very garlicy and unpleasant to eat. The sizing of the souvlaki for what you paid was very good, and service was lovely! Unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy or finish our souvlakis but we enjoyed our dim sims and battered hot dog.
Fish chips were the best they've been for a while...was offered a choice of $1.00 worth of chips instead of minimum; usually get thrown out, cause it's too much, so happy with that everything looked and tasted really nice...and the order was correct, which had been an issue, so happy with that too. We just got chips and potato cakes and they were sooooo good. Also the hottest we have had but so yummy. Almost worth coming from Geelong to get our fish and chips. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This restaurant is the best for fish and chips! I haven't found another place that even compares. The customer service is always amazing, and the burgers are very tasty. The fish and chips are cooked perfectly, not greasy with just the right amount of crunch!

This place serves the best fish and chips and burgers we have ever had. The batter on the fish is crispy and light, and the fries are fresh and crisp. The burgers with all the toppings are delicious and clearly made with care. We are from Melbourne and can't find any faults with this restaurant. It is definitely worth the drive to come back here!!
Delicious fish and chips. My favorite snack from Fish Bits is the chips with chicken salt. The service is fast and they also offer a good selection of fish and drinks.
We decided to travel to Trafalgar today to get our delious fish and chips, I love this place, it's not the first time we have got our take away here . Ordering is easy and the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. With a 10 minute wait our fish bites and chips, dim sims and potato cakes were ready and they tasted perfect, the fish bites were a $1.50 each and are a fantastic bite size. Fish bits is located perfectly in the main street with plenty of parking that makes this trip easy and also conveniently a street away from the highway for those people who are travelling through town. Great prices and great food and customer service, they also have table and chairs to sit on out the front

Can't beat fresh fish and light crispy batter! price is fair, customer service is awesome and its clean. it tops any fish n chip place n the Valley and probably all of gippsland and if all fish n chip takeaway shops were up to this standard, we wouldn't have to get the kids crappy maccas or kfc!
Atmosphere and customer service was lovely. Got fish and chips and everything was slightly undercooked. Chips were soft and powdery, and batter was still wet inside. The potato cakes and orawn cutlets were lovely.
When we are in the mood for a Fish and Chip meal we travel the 20 Klm round trip to enjoy the best Fish and Chips in Victoria. Staff are great the food is delicious and fresh. Can't beat Fish Bits in Traf.
Had the ice cream and slushies from here and it was pretty good, it just couldn't help but smile when I saw it and it smiled right back.
Absolutely lovely fish and chips even when you have a 10 minute drive to get home. Usually you face cool and gluggy chips and soggy fish but Fish Bits is quite the opposite always just as if you sit down outside and eat!

The order is simple and the staff is friendly and make you welcome. With 10 minutes our fish bites and chips, dimme seeds and potato cake were ready and they tasted perfect, the fish bites were $1.50 each and are a fantastic bite size. Fish bits is perfectly located on the main road with many parking spaces that makes this trip easy and also conveniently a road from the highway for those traveling through the city. Great prices and good food and customer service, they also have table and chairs sitting on the front
So delicious food and wonderful friendly service. I had a 30 minute drive home so that my food was packed to stay hot, I did not ask for this service, it was part of the impeccable work that the staff do. I was very happy to find the food not only hot, but very tasty. Would highly recommend
Just pulled to Trafalgar. New neighbors said to try Fish Bits. Fish and chips were very delicious.
Amazing fish N Chips and decently priced for a country shop. Went here when we first moved to Traf in 2018 and very over priced and food wasn't great! Had to get fish n chips from Warragul. TRIED AGAIN IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS AND AMAZING, CLEAN COOKED FOOD AND GENEROUS. Highly recommend !

Top fish and chips place! I haven't found anyone else who's even close! Always amazing customer service and very tasty burgers. Fish and chips are exactly right, not oily and right quantity of crispy!

The best fish and chips and burgers that we had. crispy and light on the fish and fries were crisp and fresh. burger with the go were delicious, made with love. we are from melbourne and cannot owe this place. that's worth it!

I ordered the buger with the lot and it was fantastic. The staff were very friendly. Others had the grilled and fried fish and both enjoyed it. The best part was probably the chips. The best i have had in a long time. To bad this place is an hour+ from home cause otherwise it would become my local.
