El Serrano - Tradesville

I used to really love El Serrano. Went this past Saturday. Our server was friendly, efficient, and attentive and quite honestly the best thing about our experience. The salsa and chips were delicious. We got two appetizer: nachos and fried avocado. The balsamic vinegar and wasabi mayo on the fried avocado was an unusual combination, and not one I particularly enjoyed. The nachos were ok. I got the Peruvian grilled chicken breast. It was good, but more salty than it needed to be. Our server, though, was lovely.

The booths are very private. The entire place is uniquely decorated with high quality tables, chairs and other motifs. Our server, Matthew, was incredibly attentive. I've eaten chiles rellenos in Texas, New Mexico and old Mexico, but the ones I had here were the best.

Three of the four meals were fantastic. The salmon was way undercooked. However, the Manager took care of the issue wonderfully and we still love this place. Plan on going back again soon!

My wife and I enjoy this restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is fantastic. We always have the chicken fajita along with a beverage of our choice. The Peruvian light lager is excellent.

We gather as a family for special occasions or special things we wish to celebrate or acknowledge. Being together 3 generations to share a meal is very special. ElSerrano is our “ special celebratory” location. We were seated along the windows to look out in the courtyard which was lovely. Jamie was our server and he went above and beyond with service and presented us with a fun upbeat welcoming personality. That was terrific!! We wish that families were able to enjoy El Serrano like we do but sadly realize in today's economy, that is often financially not feasible. We therefore recognize that you have a restaurant to operate and financially that surely is difficult as well. We hope to be back soon to dine with you. The good selections are amazing and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and very very relaxing. We hope to dine with you again soon. Thank you for providing us with a memorable evening with family. ?
