We got two beef and seafood tuna soups, side dishes, sides of rice, and a peach sangria. The side dishes were packed with flavor. The beef and seafood tuna soup could have used a little more flavor and maybe a few more pieces of beef. The sangria was delicious! The staff were friends and provided quick service. You're able to ask for more of the side dishes if you're sharing with a group. The place is clean. View all feedback.
What Nissim Boozaglo doesn't like about Maroo Korean Bbq Catering:
This place is not good, their only focus here is to get as much money as they can get from the customer. In my mind the focus should be on feeding people. We had 2 appetizers, chicken wings and vegi pancakes, 2 galbi plates with 2 strips of short ribs on each for $30, each !!, one pork plate and a bibimpop plate. Food was not fresh and the portions were tiny. The check for 4 dinners came to be $154!! Expensive! Really... View all feedback.
The food was just average and didn't leave a strong impression on me. While the restaurant has appealing decor, the flavors in the dishes didn’t meet my expectations. There are definitely better Korean places to visit.
The ambiance is lovely, and I must say the food is enjoyable and the service is satisfactory. We did find it to be a bit on the pricey side, but the variety of small side dishes adds to the fun experience. Overall, the food is quite delicious!
The spicy pork was served on a sizzling hot plate, reminiscent of a fajita presentation, and it was packed with flavor—so good that I nearly considered ordering a second serving. The portion size was just right, especially when combined with all the side dishes. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm and inviting, and the service was outstanding. The waitress was friendly and attentive, even offering complimentary refills on any of the side dishes as well as the lemonade. I will definitely return to Maroo, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Korean cuisine.
