What User doesn't like about Kimono:
I wanted to like this place so that I don't have to drive all the way to the bay area for sushi. what a disappointment! I ordered online at 17 o'clock that I will pick up at 18:45 o'clock. I picked up my food at 6:50 a.m. and when I came home the Teriyaki chicken was cold, my calamari was soggy in oil so softened, sashimi and nigiri were not fresh with an evil after taste. my food was eaten for hours! never kimono ag... I tried the best udon at this sushi restaurant. I loved that it was extra hot and packed with flavor.
The Sashimi platter with 18 pieces was decent. The majority of the fish was good quality, but there were a few pieces that were not up to par. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and I was disappointed that I didn't know where to request condiments, resulting in my order arriving without them or even utensils. My experience would have been greatly improved if they had included soy sauce, Kikoman sauce, or at least indicated how to request condiments on DoorDash. The meal was already expensive, so it would have been nice to have the condiments included.
I really appreciate that they offer a vegetarian specialty roll. The Hippie Hill roll is fantastic!
I have never been let down by Kimono and it isn't as expensive as other sushi places ! Definitely my favorite in town!
