a truly wonderful location; crowded in August, but service coped acceptably well; nice antipasti and pasta, fish selection wasn't too big when we went there (twice during a week in TRABIA), but decent quality, fritto was good, our daughter loved the Pizza. lovely place ! View all feedback.
What rachel w doesn't like about Al Pescatore:
A Saturday night in June, was very busy which we took as a good sign and waited about 15 mins for a table. Then waited 20 mins for a menu, same again for our order, had to ask after 25 mins for our drinks. After an hour from sitting down we asked where the good was. The table behind us left, apparently there was a problem with the pizza dough. They didn't bother explain ing the delay. Finally the good came, it wasn't... View all feedback.
Highly recommend this hidden local treasure. A must for a foodie tourist! An assortment of fresh seafood with options for those in your party who do not eat fish. Child friendly and adorable.
This is a lovely place to eat with the sea lapping just near your table. Freshly caught fish is on offer as as well as a good menu of pizza, pasta and secondi. We ate in the evening after watching the religious procession in Trabia. And at this time of year, it was not busy. Take a look at the little sculptures and the shrine that surround the terrace. Even Trabia's answer to The Little Mermaid, a fisherman always hoping for a catch!

The fish was great as were the pizzas and pasta. The meat was not as good but it rarely is in Italy. Service was Italian but the waiter was very helpful with our lack of Italian. The location has to be seen to be believed, wonderful, peaceful and no better place to enjoy fresh fish.
We came here on short notice, late one afternoon. That was not a problem, it was calm but in a way that makes you feel at home. We had primis and great fresh salads. The risotto, sweet with seafood and pumpkin was a highlight, especially for our kids. Pasta with shrimps and pistachio was also very appreciated. All fresh and home made! In high season you can sit outside, just like on the photos. Afterwards out kids were playing down by the rocks, happy as ever! We'll be back as soon as we visit the region again!
