They were really great with our young daughter she loved seeing the shellfish in the restaurant tank. Overall, a lovely little inexpensive place for a great meal.

Tucked away in a little corner of town, let the medieval architecture fool you into thinking your back in time, cause you are.

Had the Menu Del Dia and it was wonder... read more We found this resturant by mistake while trying to find our hotel. We decided to have lunch and we were delighted we did. Had the Menu Del Dia and it was wonderful. The waitress was fantastic, explaining the menu to us, telling us what was what, giving us advice on what to see in the area, allowing us to hold the lobser and crabs from the tank and telling us about the different types of shellfish. Can’t commend her enough for her friendliness, the resturant is lucky to have her. The food was delicious, and we were given a ‘taste’ of a first course we did not know big enough to be a starter! and also a plate of limpids that we had never tried before, again just a nice gesture on the resturants behalf. We were told to ask if we wanted more bread or house wine. The whole cost came to €18 and it was one of the best value, nicest Menu Del Dia’s that we have had. We enjoyed the food and the service so much we came back again the next day and can happly report it was just as good the second day. Top marks for the fish dishes, omlettes and salads -if you are in Porto Do Son, stop here.
