The restaurant is family owned, as is the hotel belonging to it. the brother works at the heart, the sister is responsible for the service and she glorifies her metier excellent, flash and inconspicuous. from the sepisecard we have made the following choice: eifeler teichforelle for my partner, I have chosen a lammragout with rosmarinkartoffeln. the recommended wein was excellent. as recommended dessert, there was a basil pesto for me. my wife chose a grape mousse with wine cream. The resteraunt is highly recommended.
A great wine selection mainly local winemakers. The menu was a perfect match. No wish was left. Thanks for the great evening there on the terrace.
When we were the only guests in the redesigned restaurant on a Friday night, we wondered if we had made a wrong decision with our choice. by no means! we were attentively supervised. appetizers, heads and dessert were of high quality and extremely tasty. the price level is reasonable - we have to pay significantly more elsewhere for less and lesser taste. if a few more guests bring some life into the bude and so the pice between 2 runs is extended a little, it would be perfect.
We ate very well here last week. we like typical German restaurants with their traditional dressed and traditionally dressed staff, but it's very nice to have some more raffinesse in a quiet environment, and that's exactly what we got here. we had both a wonderfully fried dunleber at the beginning, then very pleasant lamb and pork as main dish. and an excellent wine card, both in the glass and in the bottle. and very affordable. probably because it is a small family-run, I think they have to book in advance. the wall.
Small, healthy hotel-resrtaurant. service directly through the hotel manager. menu well assembled and also with menues. very well prepared food. the wine card is exciting, unfortunately with probably mostly to old weeps (especially burgund, bordeaux.)
